Pasta with Tomato and Bacon

Dinner that will please everyone. And ready within 20 minutes!

servings: 5 / preparation time: 20 minutes



1 lb shell pasta

10 oz diced bacon

1 tbs olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

4 diced tomatoes

1 tbs butter

chopped parsley to taste

salt to taste



1 – Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

2 – Meanwhile, prepare the sauce in a large frying pan. Heat the olive oil and add the bacon to brown, stirring constantly.

3 – Add the garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.

4 – Put the tomato and salt. Let it cook for 10 minutes, adding water as necessary.

5 – Add pasta, butter and parsley, stirring well for 2 minutes.


Tips and options:

  • Reserve 1 cup of the water in which you boiled the pasta to use in the sauce if it gets too dry.
  • Add peas to the sauce.
  • Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
