Salmon with Orange Sauce

Soft and tasty, prepare this salmon to serve with pasta or rice.

Servings: 4

Preparation time: 25 minutes




4 salmon fillets

5 garlic cloves

1/2 small onion, finely chopped

2 sprigs of rosemary

1 sprig of thyme

1 tbs chopped capers

1 tbs of butter

parsley and chives to taste

juice of 3 oranges

Juice of 1 lemon

salt and olive oil to taste



1 – Chop the salmon into large cubes and season with salt, olive oil, and lemon.

2 – In a large skillet, heat 2 tbs olive oil and fry the fish for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from pan and set aside.

3 – Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and sauté the garlic.

4 – Add onion, butter, and capers and cook for 2 minutes.

5 – Finally, combine to the pan the orange juice and herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley, and chives).

6 – Try and add more salt if necessary. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

7 – Pour the sauce over the salmon and serve immediately.
